Step in time
Put a little time aside to try something new. Our ten-week Beginner Ballroom & Latin American dance course (for adults) is designed to provide you with the steps and know-how to have fun and feel savvy on the dance floor.
Discover the many benefits dancing adds to everyday life increasing your movement and fitness. Classes run for one hour weekly and build your dance knowledge giving you new moves to master.
Learning from qualified and experienced teachers, you'll develop a sense of rhythm and confidence when dancing with a partner.

Dances you’ll learn
Classes across this ten-week course take you through the basics of the Waltz, Slow Rhythm, Quickstep, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, and Jive.
Paying for your course
Classes are $18.00 per person per class. Classes can be paid weekly or as a bulk payment. We provide online payment services for the full upfront cost, and in-person payment services for EFT, Credit Card, and Cash.
Early Bird Discount
A discount is available for students paying the full upfront course cost either before or on the start date. This lowers the cost per class to $16.00.

Do I need a partner?
Students are not required to have their own partners. Our courses are designed around individual learning, coupled with other students participating in the course.
Do I need to be vaccinated?
As Queensland Health has lifted restrictions, students DO NOT need to show proof of vaccination at their first class.
Please ensure you use hand sanitiser for the safety of all students participating in the course as well as other people that also visit the venue.
Will I need prior experience?
Not at all! Our fun Beginner Course is a step by step introduction to dance and is designed for the absolute beginner. For our Intermediate Course, it is recommended to first complete our Beginner Course.
Can I join anytime?
Students are welcome to join in the first and second weeks. After the second week, it is recommended to wait until the next available course commencement.
What clothes do I need to wear?
It is a good idea to wear comfortable clothes which you can move in. Sleeved shirts for both men and ladies are recommended.
What shoes should I wear?
Joggers are not recommended after the first few lessons as they can cause you to stick to the dance floor. It is advised for both men and women to wear comfortable shoes, that allow freedom of movement. Low heeled shoes for the ladies, and comfortable shoes for the guys.

Do I need to bring anything special?
There is nothing special you need to bring on the night. You are welcome to bring your own drink bottle.
